The Stopforth House is a modern 4 bedroom beach house that was renovated at the end of 2023 (a 4th bedroom will be ready from Feb 2024). The beach house is located just 2 hours drive from Cape Town in Shelley Point Estate & Golf Course. Directly on the beach, the home is luxurious but laid back.
The ground floor of the beach house offers spacious and open plan flow between indoor and outdoor living. The fully equipped kitchen, living and dining space open up onto the enclosed (fully glassed stack away doors to the sea) veranda with a ginormous built in braai/BBQ, dining and lounging space. Step out of the covered veranda onto the lovely large green lawn, where you can spend your day sunbathing on one of the loungers over looking the beach.
On the upper level of the beach house are generous 2 en-suite bedrooms, both opening onto a large deck with spectacular sea views. The 3rd en-suite bedroom is located on the ground level off the living space. All 3 bathrooms offer showers and baths. There is also a guest loo in the living space.
The Stopforth House has off street parking as well as a garage for 2 cars. The home offers DStv (satelite), wifi, and has an alarm system (although safety is not of any concern in the security estate). The home is serviced for longer stays – please enquire about cleaning and linen changes for your stay. Additional cleaning can be arranged on request.
