The Beach House

The Beach House, a luxurious and unique property, offers 4 en-suite bedrooms on the waters edge. Located just under 2 hours drive from Cape Town in Shelley Point Estate & Golf Course on the West Coast, every corner of The Beach House has been beautifully and luxuriously finished. With high volume ceilings, large open fire places, a plunge pool over looking the ocean, and direct access onto the beach – The Beach House is the perfect location for summer and winter holidays!

The Beach House is on two levels, with the living space and 1 bedroom on the ground level and 3 bedrooms on the second level. The living space comprises of an open plan fully equipped kitchen (equipped with everything you need and more!), dining room and living room. The kitchen has stack away windows which open to create a serving counter between the kitchen and outside sea facing veranda. The kitchen also has a very large built in fire place, perfect for indoor BBQ’ing (braai’ing) or for warmth and ambiance in the chillier months. The kitchen has a fully equipped separate scullery, and access to court yard.

The dining room, with double volume ceilings and walls adorned with beautiful art, has a large 12 seater wooden table along side a large open plan wood fire place. Doors from the dining room open up onto the covered veranda, and unobstructed sea views. Next to the dining room, separated by the fire place, is a living room with luxurious yet comfortable sofas, and beautiful Dutch East Indian cupboards. There is a large plasma TV which can also be swung to face the dining area.

To the front of The Beach House off the living space is a long covered veranda with tables and seating for 12, as well as a built in BBQ (braai). The paved patio has a plunge pool and 4 sun loungers for bathing (there are additional sun loungers offering 8 in total). The 10m boardwalk (can be lit up at night) from the patio takes you directly onto the beach.

On the second floor are the bedrooms: the main bedroom offers a king size bed, full en-suite, sitting area, TV and balcony overlooking the ocean. The second bedroom offers a king size bed and en-suite with shower. The third bedroom offers a king size bed, en-suite with bath and balcony with hammock overlooking the ocean. The fourth bedroom offers a double bed and en-suite with shower.

The Beach House offers DStv (satelite TV), wifi, and excellent security. All stays at The Beach House stays include cleaning on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Unless there is a booking checking in the following day, late check-outs are encouraged! Additional cleaning can be arranged on request.
